Overview
I enjoy writing code, technology (in general), 3D printing, and various forms of sportsball whenever I try that nice "exercise" thing everybody keeps talking about.

Research
My research interests are largely focused on visible and infrared instrumentation and observation. Currently, I primarily work on the upcoming MIRADAS (Mid-resolution Infrared Astronomical Spectrograph) instrument with PI Prof. Stephen Eikenberry. When I am not in the lab, I am following up quasar candidates I've identified as part of my all-sky search for bright, high redshift quasars that will serve as prime candidates for the detection of cosmological redshift drift by future facilities. Past research interests include observatory automation, optical fiber characterization, exoplanet detection, and the detection/analysis of star-forming regions in the Milky Way.
