Overview
I was born and raised in Texas and discovered astronomy as a passion later on in life. After almost completing a degree in accounting, I decided it wasn't for me and made the switch to working on a physics degree with a focus on astrophysics. Years later I am finally doing something I love by studying the Universe. I have worked on various projects from millisecond pulsars to AGN to searching for X-ray binary systems. In my off time, I enjoy watching movies, playing video games, and making art (3D art and music).
Education
- M.A., Astronomy, Wesleyan University, 2020
- B.Sc., Physics, Texas Tech University, 2018
Research
My research interests are primarily on the study of compact objects. I am interested in the various fields of research that arise from these objects. Whether it is studying X-ray binary systems, gravitational waves, or the supermassive black holes at the center of galaxies.
