Overview
I spent most of my childhood in the small town of Simsbury, Connecticut. I attended Rutgers University in New Jersey for my undergraduate degree in Astrophysics as a member of the Honors College.
I love biting my teeth into hard problems and trying to understand their ins and outs while building mental frameworks that lead me to solutions. In my time off, I like to sit back and play games and often apply the same mindset to them as I do for work.

Research
My research interests involve understanding the formation and evolution of galaxies through the usage of galaxy simulations. I enjoy both attempting to understand what physical laws govern the universe as well as the necessary computational techniques to get there. I am also interested in connecting my work to observational results and investigating the systematic uncertainties that exist both in observations and simulations which limit our ability to correctly study galaxies. My day-to-day work can take many forms because of this.
