Overview
I began my career as an undergraduate at the University of Arizona, where I earned a B.Sc. in Astronomy, magna cum laude. In the summers of 2019 and 2020, I completed two summer internships at the NRAO in Socorro, New Mexico. In 2019, I received the Arizona Space Grant to work as an intern at the Lunar & Planetary Laboratory. In my free time, I enjoy sculpture, digital art, and gaming.
Education
- B.Sc., Astronomy, University of Arizona, 2021
- M.Sc., Astronomy, University of Florida, 2023
Research
I study the structure and kinematics of the Galactic Center of the Milky Way, focusing on the movements and locations of its clouds. I study Galactic Center star formation, as the extreme environment of the Galactic Center may have intriguing impacts on star formation which sets it apart from star formation occurring in the Milky Way's disk.
Areas of Study
- Galactic Center Structure and Kinematics
- Molecular Interstellar Medium (ISM)
- Star Formation
