UF Astro is hiring in AI and Machine Learning

The department of Astronomy is happy to announce that we are hiring two tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Assistant professor starting August 16, 2021. We invite applicants in all areas of observational, experimental, theoretical and computational astrophysics who specialize in using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in their research. We particularly encourage applicants in the area of exoplanets, star formation, stellar populations, galaxies and cosmology who can utilize resources available at the Department and the University of Florida, including the high performing computing resources at HiPerGator and the Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC).
