Overview

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Florida in Prof. Desika Narayanan’s group, where I study the evolution of dust in galaxies and its impact on observability using state-of-the-art cosmological simulations of galaxy formation. I earned my PhD at SISSA (Trieste, Italy) in 2024 under the supervision of Cinthia Ragone-Figueroa, Gian Luigi Granato, and Andrea Lapi.

Education
  • PhD, Astrophysics and Cosmology, International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA), 2024
  • MSc, Theoretical Physics, Sapienza University of Rome, 2020
  • BSc, Physics, Sapienza University of Rome, 2018
Areas of Study
  • Theoretical Galaxy Evolution
  • Dust and Interstellar Medium
  • Numerical cosmological simulations
RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research is about galaxy formation and evolution, with particular focus on the properties and observability of dust and interstellar medium. My main interest is in galaxy evolution numerical simulations that can interpret the physical properties and the observability of galaxies from the local to the early Universe, particularly by current facilities like ALMA and JWST.
