Overview

I grew up in Minnesota and was cold there until I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for my undergraduate studies in 2017. There I was still cold, and double-majored in Physics and Astrophysics with a minor in Mathematics. I became interested in research due to some great advisors, and I am now warm at the University of Florida where I will pursue my interests and a PhD. Outside of school, I enjoy playing a variety of instruments, spending time with friends, traveling, photography and drawing.

Research

I am primarily interested in exoplanet detection, planet formation, and star-planet interactions. I have worked on projects investigating young variable stars, constructing and testing protoplanetary disk models, and most recently detecting an exoplanet in a triple-planetary system. I am excited to continue researching exoplanets and the stars they orbit as a graduate student at UF.
