Overview
Hi there! My name is Charlie Rubin and I am a current 1st year PhD student in the Department of Astronomy. I grew up in the Boston area and completed my Bachelors and Masters in New England before moving down to Florida. My master's research focused on studying/deriving the properties of galaxies using SED fitting software and my undergraduate research focused on studying the galactic outflows of starburst galaxies. Outside of academia, I love to climb, play piano and read history books.
