Educational Background
  • M.Sc., Astronomy, University of Florida, May 2016
  • B.Sc., Applied Physics, Hebei Normal University, China, 2014

Areas of Specialty
Gamma-Ray Bursts, Interstellar & Intergalactic Dust, Dimensionality Reduction, Bayesian Analysis, Galaxy Evolution.

Research Interests
I am interested in understanding the origin of Gamma-Ray Bursts and the effects that the X-ray radiation accompanying GRBs produce on their surrounding dust. Other interests concern the use of GRBs and Quasars as probes of the ISM in high-z galaxies.

Biography
I am currently a third-year student in the Astronomy Department at University of Florida, working with Dr. Jian Ge. I received my bachelor's degree from Hebei Normal University in China.
